On July 1, 2009, the West Virginia Department
of Environmental
Protection hosted workshops during which the DEP sought information
from Eastern Panhandle residents to improve water quality in the
Tuscarora
Creek watershed. Martinsburg Journal article
On June 17, 2010, DEP again hosted a watershed meeting during which Alana Hartman, Potomac Basin Coordinator and Kristen Milkarek, Canaan Valley Institue, presented a draft watershed based plan for the Tuscarora Creek watershed.
