Water Quality Workshops

On November 14, 2007, January 9, 2008, the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection hosted workshops during which the DEP sought information from Eastern Panhandle residents to improve water quality in the Mill Creek watershed.  After the November 14 workshop, several attendees toured the area and a designed wetlands water treatment plant.  On May 1, 2008 at another workshop, the Mill Creek Project Proposal, a component of the Watershed Based Plan, was presented to residents.
